Phantom Blade Zero sold more than 4 million copies across PlayStation 5 and PC in 72 hours, developer S-GAME said. RPG Site dates the studio’s announcement to November 2, 2026.

The figure is a sales total reported by the developer, not a count of people playing at the same time. RPG Site’s report gives no platform split, so it does not show how many copies each version sold.

Phantom Blade Zero launches digitally

RPG Site says the game is available on PS5 and on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The outlet reproduces S-GAME’s launch schedule: October 29, or the evening of October 28 on the US West Coast.

That timing also explains why the Steam page lists October 28 as the release date. The sales milestone covers the launch period; it is not a new release announcement.

A single-player martial arts story

S-GAME’s Steam listing describes a single-player action role-playing game centered on Soul, a warrior framed for his master’s murder. A wound leaves him with 66 days to live while he seeks the truth behind the plot.

The studio combines martial arts with dark fantasy and mechanical elements. It calls that mix kungfupunk, drawing on Chinese martial arts cinema rather than a strictly historical setting.

The listing says combat offers more than 30 main weapons and over 20 Phantom Edges. These are extra tools players can combine. The PC version requires an SSD and 145 GB of free storage. Steam also lists English and Simplified Chinese voice tracks.

Physical PS5 edition is still ahead

S-GAME plans a boxed PS5 version of Phantom Blade Zero for 2027, according to RPG Site. Standard and deluxe physical editions are in the works, while the current release is digital.

The cited announcement gives a year rather than a precise date for the disc version. For buyers who want a physical copy, that release remains a future step separate from the sales total now reported by the studio.
