Fortnite Crew changes will take effect on December 5, 2026, Epic Games said. The update raises monthly V-Bucks grants, ends the OG Pass and makes December the final month for a Crew outfit pack.
However, Epic says the US monthly price will remain $11.99. The Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium will stay in the subscription.
Fortnite Crew changes reward longer subscriptions
Epic’s subscription page lists 800 V-Bucks as the current monthly grant. The game currency can be spent on outfits, emotes and other Shop items. From December 5, the amount will depend on how long a player has subscribed, as the table shows.
| Tier | Consecutive subscription months | Monthly V-Bucks |
|---|---|---|
| Core | 1–2 months | 1,000 |
| Bronze | 3–5 months | 1,200 |
| Silver | 6–11 months | 1,400 |
| Gold | 12+ months | 1,600 |

Longer continuous subscription periods qualify for larger monthly grants.
For current members, Epic says the new tier will reflect their consecutive subscribed months in the past 12 months. The company tells players to check the in-game Crew tab for their starting tier.
What happens to outfits and passes
Epic’s announcement says subscribers will receive the final Crew Pack throughout December. In addition, it says owners of past packs will receive all remaining Legacy Styles in December, even without an active subscription.
Meanwhile, the OG Pass ends with Chapter 1: OG Season X on December 5, according to Epic. The company plans the next era of Fortnite OG for late 2027.
Epic’s subscription page says the retained passes provide access to premium rewards as players progress. It also lists Fortnite Crew as a benefit of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Experience boosts and returning members
The Fortnite Crew changes also bring XP boosts. Epic’s subscription page says members will earn 20% more experience points, known as XP. Friends without Crew will get a 10% boost while playing in the same party.
However, the announcement says multiple Crew members will not stack those boosts. Current subscribers need take no action to keep their membership.
Epic also sets a return window of December 6–31, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Returning members’ starting tiers will then reflect their most recent continuous subscription period in the past 12 months. After that deadline, they start at Core, Epic says.
