AMD Q3 results showed revenue of $13.4 billion, up 45% from a year earlier, the US chip company said on November 3, 2026. Its third quarter ended on September 26, according to its regulatory filing.
The company said Data Center sales nearly doubled, while Gaming sales fell 40%. AMD expects fourth-quarter revenue to reach about $17 billion, plus or minus 3%.
Data centers lead AMD Q3 results
AMD said strong demand for EPYC processors and the launch of Instinct MI450 Series graphics chips drove Data Center growth. That business brought in $8.5 billion, up 97% from a year earlier.
However, growth was uneven across the company. AMD’s financial tables show the contrast below, with Client and Gaming listed separately for a closer view.
| Business | Q3 2025 | Q3 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Data Center | 4,341 USD million | 8,546 USD million |
| Client | 2,750 USD million | 2,949 USD million |
| Gaming | 1,298 USD million | 773 USD million |
| Embedded | 857 USD million | 1,109 USD million |

Data Center revenue rose sharply while Gaming revenue fell. Client and Gaming are shown separately within their combined reporting segment.
AMD said Client revenue grew 7%, helped by Ryzen mobile processor sales. In contrast, Gaming revenue fell because of lower semi-custom and graphics sales. Together, Client and Gaming revenue fell 8% to $3.7 billion.
Meanwhile, AMD said Embedded revenue rose 29% to $1.1 billion. It linked that growth to aerospace and defense, automotive, communications and industrial markets.
Profit rises, with adjusted earnings higher
Under standard US accounting rules, AMD reported net income of $2.428 billion, up from $1.243 billion a year earlier. Its diluted earnings per share rose from $0.75 to $1.46, the company said.
The AMD Q3 results also put adjusted earnings at $2.09 per share. Those figures exclude items such as stock-based pay and costs tied to past acquisitions, as set out in its financial tables.
According to Investing.com, adjusted earnings beat the $1.94 per share analysts had expected. Revenue also exceeded the $13.06 billion forecast cited by the outlet.
AMD forecasts further growth in the fourth quarter
AMD said the midpoint of its fourth-quarter sales outlook implies growth of about 66% from a year earlier. It also represents about 27% growth from the third quarter.
Chief executive Lisa Su said AMD expects to increase production of Helios and Venice in the fourth quarter. The company said its outlook rests on current expectations and actual results could differ.
